With any new dedicated Server we recommend you lock down Remote Desktop to people you want to have access to the machine only. You can do this via the following:

  1. Open Windows Firewall (wf.msc) on the system
  2. Left click Inbound Rules, then click Remote Desktop - User Mode (TCP-In)
  3. Right Click Remote Desktop - User Mode (TCP-In) and go to Properties
  4. Left Click Scope
  5. Left Click Remote IP Address - These IP addresses
  6. Left Click Add
  7. Add the IP address in the box and click Ok
  8. Repeat Steps 2-7 for Remote Desktop - User Mode (UDP-In)

If you need to find your IP address go to here and add the 'Announced As' field (make sure you include the /XX ( eg; 103.152.196.0/23 ))
